The original 1974 edition has an astonishing success story in that the first 10,000 copies were sold out within a year. A further eight reprints followed (85,000 books) and finally an update with new exquisite photographs, additional identifications and text was done in August 2005.
Unique keys are used: based on horns, size, body shape, markings and colouring.
