There are many indigenous nurseries in South Africa and, of course, many “normal” nurseries sell indigenous plants. Below, we have listed some indigenous nurseries that may be of use to you. TIP WHEN BUYING INDIGENOUS PLANTS. There are occasions when you will want to buy a lot of plants, like ground covers, to create a feature or cover an area of your garden, and you may be considering mixing a number of species.
If this is the case, and you are not familiar with the different species, always ask the nursery if the different species that you wish to mix are compatible. Make sure that one species will not overwhelm the others.
